After receiving a notice from an absent-minded wizard who lost his mentor’s crystal ball in a robbery where only a tuft of tan fur was left behind, a chaotic crew of fighters and wizards runs through the forests and nearly right into a web, where they handle a swarm of Giant Wolf Spiders. Pressing onward, they find a hidden hideout and battle against Worgs, a Bugbear, and ominous cultists who seem ready to risk it all to buy more time with the crystal ball. Meanwhile, a mysterious tan-colored tabaxi dashed through the room and down into a watery tunnel. In a last ditch effort to keep the crystal ball, one of the cult members tossed it into the water, but the party easily retrieves it and returns it to the wizard. The tabaxi has escaped… for now.
